SHOPPING FOR A PUPPY?
Puppies, puppies, puppies. With all of the different internet sites
offering puppies for sale by owner, it's a hard choice to make.
So, where should you buy your new puppy? Here at A and J Kennel,
we hope you will consider our puppies when you make your decision.
Since May, 1990, it has been our goal to provide healthy, happy,
well socialized companion pets for loving homes.
We take pride in our kennel! References will be sent upon request.
All of our puppies are AKC registered, and A and J Kennel
is in good standing with AKC and is a member of the Better Business
Bureau.
Whether you purchase a puppy
from A and J Kennel, or from someone else, make sure you are committed
to the proper care and training for a new puppy. Always ask the
family members how they feel about this new responsibility.
WHAT DOES A PUPPY NEED:
A puppy needs a quality puppy food, fresh water, a warm dry bed,
regular exercise, and lots of TLC from you (and toys too!). You
will also need to take your puppy to your veterinarian for check-ups
and vaccinations, etc. Remember, you are responsible for the well
being of your puppy. Even though we do not require a spay/neuter
contract, we feel that it is in the best interest of the puppy to
be spayed or neutered at an age chosen by your veterinarian, usually
4 to 6 months old for males and 6 to 8 months old for females. Please
be a responsible pet owner by having your pet spayed or neutered.
A and J Kennel will try to answer any questions or concerns you
may have. We are committed to providing a healthy, happy, socialized
puppy that will give years of enjoyment to you and your family.
All of our puppies can be shipped by air in the continental USA.

you decide to purchase a puppy from A and J Kennel, a deposit is
required to hold a puppy for you. See our Bichon

pages for details. We will send pictures and updates to our customers
about every two weeks, so you can see the progress of your puppy.
PUPPIES WILL HAVE:
AKC registration, dewclaws removed, first shots/worming, two veterinarian
checks (at about 6 weeks of age and again before shipping, when
they get their health certificate) a two-year limited
guarantee, and a copy of the parent's pedigree.
FOOD:
We wean our puppies at about 7 weeks of age. Our puppies are fed NutriSource
Puppy Food, starting at about 3 to 4 weeks of age. All of our customers receive
NutriSource Puppy Food packs. For puppies that are shipped, the food is placed
on the top back of the carrier. For puppies that are picked up at our home, the
food is given to our customers at pick up. For puppies that are shipped, we will
send a detailed message explaining everything.
