WE ARE RETIRED, AND THIS WEBSITE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
Make sure you are committed to the proper care
and training for a puppy. Always ask the family members how they
feel about this new responsibility, and make sure your entire family
has the time and patience to devote to a puppy. After all, a puppy is
an important part of the family and will be for many years to come.
Puppies need lots of love with daily care, training, and attention
from you.
A puppy needs a quality puppy food, fresh water, a warm dry bed, regular
exercise, and lots of TLC from you (and toys too!). You will also need to
take your puppy to your veterinarian for check-ups and vaccinations, etc.
Remember, you are responsible for the well being of your puppy.
Before you take the responsibility of owning a pet, please read the following
poem.
WE feel that it is in the best interest of the puppy to be spayed or neutered
at an age chosen by your veterinarian, usually 4 to 6 months old for males
and 6 to 8 months old for females. Please be a responsible pet owner by having
your pet spayed or neutered.
